I should like to take this opportunity to explain to you my reaction to the news reports that I have been getting from the internet (Jerusalem Post, Ha'Aretz, Jerusalem Report, etc.) concerning the construction activities of the Waqf on the Temple Mount. I have been an amateur biblical archeologist for a number of years and follow the activities of the various "digs" in Israel avidly. I am very saddened and terribly upset over the wanton destruction of archaeological artifacts and siting being carried on as I write. Your caution about immediately stopping this activity is heart sickening as I thought that the getto mentality ("shanda for the goyim") had been exercised from the psyche of the modern Israeli nation. And you, in particular, a true and steadfast hero of the nation who has fought and put his own life on the line numerous times, not stopping this destruction because of the "fear" of violence by the Arabs is unbelievable. Your desire for peace with the Palestinians is, as it must be with all Israelis, a very estimable undertaking and one to be devoutly pursued but deep down in your (and most Israelis) heart must be the realization that Arafat is using the "peace process" as a means to his real end _ the weakening and constriction of the State of Israel so that he and the rest of his "Arab brothers" can deal the final blow to the State and "drive the Jews into the sea". So, if there is to be a confrontation over something as clear cut as the desecration of 2000 years of history (both Jewish and Moslem) and violence rather than true negotiation is the result you know that down the road - after the "west bank" is under Palestinian sway and there is no way to stop, or even verify, massive arming and moving of troops into the area from irredentist countries surrounding Israel _ the confrontation should come now while Israel is at its strongest and world opinion is firmly behind Israel's positions. When people such as Yael Dayan, Roni Milo, A.B. Yehshua, Amos Oz, Amnon Rubenstein who do not want to do anything to upset the Arabs are asking the digging and construction to stop you know that the problem is upsetting to all Israeli. Do not let the Waqf continue down the path of complete destruction of 2000 years of history - be a true Israeli hero. Sincerely

Dear Mr. Prime Minister, As a retired US Navy Commander and 23 year fighter pilot, I greatly admire your outstanding career as a distinguished combat warrior. Nevertheless, I beg your consideration of my following comments about the present and future status of the Temple Mount and the imminent Third Temple. While avoiding the labels of religions, I will say that I am a sincere, knowledgeable, gentile believer in the Hebrew Scriptures, the G-d of Israel, and the 100.00% accurate fulfillment of the prophecies about the dispersion of Israel, the sufferings during the dispersion, the regathering back into the land, the perpetual animosity of the descendants of Esau towards those of Jacob, the contention over the promised land, the regaining of Jerusalem by Israel, and the current gentile presence on the G-d of Israel's Temple Mount. The 100.00% accurate fulfillment of these and many other Biblical prophecies concerning Israel prove the truth of the Hebrew Scripture. Discovering this truth ended my 42 years of agnosticism. Mr. Prime Minister, the next event in G-D's plan, predicted by Scripture, is the rebuilding of the Third Temple and the resumption of the Mosaic Law. G-d has said that He will accomplish this regardless of opposition from within and without Israel. David accomplished his exploits because he believed G-d and G-d was on his side. Second Chronicles Chapters 6 & 7 show the importance of the Temple to Israel and the world-forever. Please consider the Temple Mount and work with G-d in preserving it for the Third Temple, and stop the present desecration of the Temple Mount. Zechariah Chapters 12-14 describe the wrath of G-d on those who fight Him over His plans for Jerusalem and the Temple. These Chapters should be a guide and encouragement for all who work with G-d in establishing Israel as His nation with Jerusalem as its capitol. The Temple Mount should stay in Israel's control forever. Mr. Prime Minister, I commend David as your example. Working to further the plan of the G-d of Israel will bring blessings. Working against Him will only result in crushing defeat. He will work His plan and no one will prevail in thwarting it. I respectfully request that you read the above Scripture passages and preserve the Temple Mount for G-D's intended use. At the very least, gentiles should not be allowed to increase their presence on the Mount, and illegal activities should be corrected.
