It started out as just another "extremist right-wing fabrication". A young (religious) student of archeology maintained that the Moslem Waqf was digging inside the Temple Mount, systematically destroying uncountable relics pertaining to the First Temple period.

The Israeli press scorned the issue. The Israeli Archeology Authority dismissed it.

Now, even the likes of Teddy Kolleck, A.B.Yehoshua and even S. Yizhar petitioned (then PM) Barak to stop the historic tragedy. The Arabs want to erase us - period.

Unfortunately, even our current Israeli government is blind and deaf to what is going on. We all must do what we can to let the world know that we will not give up the Heart of the Jewish People - our Temple Mount.
