Victor Tatrinov


May 20, 2002 - Victor Tatrinov, 63, of Netanya was one of three Israelis killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up in a crowded section of Netanya's open-air market.

Victor Tatrinov was retired. He had immigrated to Israel in 1997, together with his second wife, Yelena. The couple resided together in Netanya until their divorce two years ago. He had gone to the market to buy groceries when he was killed.

Publication of Victor Tatrinov's name was delayed until Israeli embassy and Jewish Agency officials could locate his 90-year-old mother and two sons who reside in Russia, and inform them of his tragic death. A sister resides in the Ukraine.

Victor Tatrinov was buried in the Kibbutz Bahan cemetery. He is survived by his mother, two sons, and sister.
