Shula Abramovitch
Mar 27, 2002 - Shula Abramovitch, 63, of Holon was one of 28 people killed in a suicide bombing in the Park Hotel in the coastal city of Netanya, in the midst of the Passover holiday seder. On the eve of Passover, the terrorist walked into the dining room of the hotel, located in the center of Netanya, where 250 guests had just sat down to begin the seder. He detonated an explosive device, killing 22 immediately and injuring 140, six of whom died later. The bomber was identified as a member of the Hamas Iz a Din al-Kassam Brigades, from the West Bank city of Tulkarem, which is just 10 kilometers (six miles) east of Netanya. He was on the list of wanted terrorists Israel had In recent years Shula and her husband Mordechai attended the Passover seder Mo the Park Hotel. Shula was killed and her Mordechai was injured in the blast. Shula Abramovitz, 63, from Holon, was killed in the Park Hotel attack and her husband Mordechai was injured. She is survived by two daughters. Shula Abramovitz was born in Poland, and immigrated to Israel as a teenager. She lived most of her life in Holon. She worked in the accounting department of a textile plant in Holon, where she met her husband. After her marriage, she focused her energies on raising her two daughters. In recent years, Shula and one daughter became Orthodox. Shula Abramovitz was buried in the Yarkon cemetery in Tel-Aviv. She is survived by her husband and two daughters.
