"Tough love for Israel"

Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times writes an OP-ED July 24, 2008 wherein he recommends "Tough Love for Israel". That statement could easily come from the mouths of Zbigniew Brzezinski, James Baker III or any of the State Department diplomats who now work for the Saudis.

There are several components in the "NewSpeak" for dedicated anti-Semites. They can’t rail against Jews like a village priest at Easter, urging ignorant peasantry to rush out of church and into a joyous pogrom, attacking the Jewish Ghetto. Pillaging, raping and murdering Jews was sanctioned by the Church but, that was then.

Now the ravings take the form of issuing advise to the Jews to pacify and appease their enemies. Although the pogroms are no longer marked necessarily with pitch-forks, axes and butcher knives (except when they can) now it comes with rifles, explosives, bulldozers, kidnaping, bus bombs and torture.

But, the Kristofs of today’s world invariably have a "Yea, But!" explanation or apology for the dedicated killers of Jews. Now Kristof begins his diatribe with a recommendation for "Tough Love" which has all the meaning and intent you think it does.

I will skip about in Kristof’s recommendation of "Tough Love".

First, he says that Israel is contemplating military strikes on Iranian nuclear sites and the U.S. would be a better friend IF they said to Israel: "That’s crazy!" Really, Mr. Kristof?

The current President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has sworn on his Islamic soul that he is going to wipe out Israel, presumably with the Nuclear Weapons that America is so worried about.

But, Kristof caps his recommendation with a statement that Israel must freeze settlements on the "West Bank" and "Greater Jerusalem". That’s the same as saying Israel should stop living and growing.

To Kristof, Nuclear Bomb threats are the same as building homes for the peaceful settlers. He also not-so-slyly implies that, IF Israel does stop building housing and gives up half of Jerusalem to the Muslim Arab Palestinians (especially the half with the most holy Jewish places), then the Muslims will cease their Terrorist attacks. In the PR business that’s called a "subliminal cue" so the listener gets a message he doesn’t even know is penetrating his mind and becoming a part of his own thinking. And then, of course, Iran will stop constructing their Nuclear weapons.

Take a look at the August 2008 edition of the National Geographic on the ancient Persian Empire and the current Iran. Note the modern map of Iran. National Geographic labels as many of the nuclear technology sites as are commonly known. It’s as if the NG has issued a contract for someone sane to reach out and obliterate that nuclear threat to the world by an insane tyrant.

Watch for the next trick of Kristof’s semantics. First, he sets and baits the trap by printing a letter from a Jew who writes that Jews lived in Hebron for 1800 years, continually, until they were murdered in 1929 by their Muslim Arab neighbors. The Jews have reclaimed Jewish property. Does that 1929 massacre of 69 Jews make the Jews' right to live in Hebron illegitimate or illegal? (Now watch the Kristof slip-slide.)

Good ole’ Nick says: "True, Jews have deep ties to Hebron, just as Christians do to Jerusalem and Bethlehem but, none of those bonds confer any rights to live in these place or even want to visit them." Now, Kristof is dancing fast. He leaves out a few things so the reader won’t be confused by ancillary facts. Hebron is the burial place which Abraham, our patriarch, purchased as a burial place for his wife, Sarah, our matriarch. His son, Isaac and Rivkah - grandson, Jacob and Leah are also buried there in the Cave of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs - Ma’arat HaMachpelah. There were no Palestinians - No Arabs then - just pagan tribes.

As for Jerusalem and Christians, Kristof avoids the time line of a few thousand years from the Davidic presence. No Arabs, No Muslims, No Christians in Jerusalem until much later a Jew named Jesus walked the streets trod by the Jewish Prophets long before Saul/Paul had his epiphany during one of his epileptic seizures.

Up until the Jews liberated the City of Jerusalem in 1967, whenever the Muslim Arabs or Christians controlled the City, neither allowed the other to live or worship and both excluded the Jews. When the Jews recaptured Hebron, Jerusalem and liberated the Holy Place of the Jewish Temple Mount, they passed laws which made it mandatory for Christians and Muslims, among other religious sects like the Bahais and Zoroastrians to worship freely at their own churches and shrines.

Only the Jews did this and now the Muslims say: "Give us half the City and we will again exclude all others." Kristof, clearly you are a newer breed of anti-Semite who uses words to bend the Jews, instead of burning them at the stake or in their synagogues - for now.

Kristof also advises "Israel to negotiate more enthusiastically with Syria over the Golan Heights [peace with Syria since 1967 because Israel sits atop the Golan] and with the Arab coutnries on the basis of the Saudi peace proposal, then peace might still elude the region. But Israel would at least be doing everything possible to secure its long-term future rather than bolstering Hamas."

Kristof ignore the inevitable result if Israel, now only 300 miles long and 50 miles wide, further cuts off pieces of her living homeland, thereby giving the Arabs the perception that Israel is so vulnerable as to invite them to attack. Kristof goes on to quote from the Left Liberal NGO B’Tselem which seems to hate the ground they walk on and also all observant Jews. He uses these statistics as to how many Jewish minors were killed as compared to a greater number of Palestinian minors. Kristof leaves out the part that the adult Muslim Arab Palestinians use human shields of children, women and civilians generally when the Terrorist attack Jews.

Kristof also ignores the curriculum taught in all Arab Muslim schools and on their television that teaches "Jihad" (Holy War for Islam) and the killing of Jews.

Kristof, as a semantic anti-Semite forgets Yassir Arafat’s RPG kids, 10 year olds taught to fire Rocket Propelled Grenades at Israeli soldiers who would hesitate shooting at kids, even those with weapons. Kristof tells the Jews something to the effect that if they leave the "West Bank" (Judea and Samaria) Israel’s historic heartland, stop building, withdraw the checkpoints against suicide bombers - then the Muslim Terrorists would be pacified and cease their Terror.

Strangely, Kristof doesn’t really dwell on the Sharon-Olmert surrender of Gush Katif/Gaza and the follow-on invasion by Terrorists who made Gaza a Global Terrorist fire base from which to launch Kassam Rockets and now longer range Katyusha Missiles supplied by Syria and Iran, then smuggled into Gaza through Egypt.

Kristof speaks of a one-state solution if a two-state entity is not created. What he neglects to tell his readers is that once there is a two-state entity, the Muslim Arab entity will also become a Global Terrorist firing base - just like Gaza - with all of Israel’s population, industry and international airport in easy range. Yes, indeed, there will be one state - one state without Jews.

Kristof knows all of this (or he should) - which makes him a new and dangerous breed of Jew-hater.

Anti-Semites come in all shapes, sizes and color. Need I really go on to make my point? Anti-Semites have always been around and will continue their diatribes. The Muslim Arabs will always be viciously pagan, trying to compensate for their inferiority complex by conquering others and feeding off of their accomplishments. They are certainly after the Jews and will go after the Christians for the same reason. They say: "First the Saturday people; then the Sunday people."

I wonder what they will do with Kristof if they can get their hands on him?
