Winston Mideast Analysis & Commentary
Time to Clean House
Emanuel A. Winston, Middle East analyst & commentator
I make the following recommendations to the American and Israeli people: Sadly, it is clear that the representatives of the two nations have compromised the integrity of their two governments - America and Israel. President and Mrs. Clinton for America and Prime Minister Ehud Barak for Israel. In America the once bright White House is now a dingy gray. In Israel, too, the Prime Minister’s office carries the filth of corruption. Therefore, I recommend the following to express your feelings and indignation. Start sending to the White House, attention: Mr. and Mrs. Clinton, as often as you can, cleaning solutions, soap, preferably with an antiseptic sterilizing ingredient. Bars of soap, cleaning solutions like Mr. Clean, Lysol or any of the dozens of products that the Clintons can use to scrub the dinge off of the Grey House. Sponges and scrub brushes would also be welcomed. If you feel that Madam Albright has dirtied the Secretary of State’s official residence by hosting a man with much blood on his hands, Yassir Arafat, include her for your cleaning care packages.
Perhaps the message is to scrub up Assad and Arafat. Each of you may have your own message to deliver with a Bar of Soap to clean up this tragic Soap Opera. The same should be done in Israel directed to Mr. Barak. Let millions of Americans express themselves again and again. Let the White House be piled high with disinfectants and cleaning solutions. Send your messages to Hillary at her new address in Chattauqua, New York, requesting her to return to the now Grey House and do a wifely clean-up of her former dwelling. If you feel so moved, stage marches and leave your packages in front of the White House, in the hundreds or thousands. Invite the Press and TV news media! Clean-up clubs should be formed to collect and send packages to the once White and now Grey Capital. Place ads recommending others to join the clean-up effort. In Israel, I am sure they can deliver the same message to Barak, Beilin, Rubenstein, Sarid and Weizman. Let them know with these physical symbols how you feel about their dirtying up the Israeli government. Keep sending your clean-up message until they get the message. Send it to their homes and offices. Greet them at every meeting with a bar of soap. (Hand it; don’t throw it.) Do it now! Send this message to every person and organization you know and tell them to get busy! |
